I need more explaination please,I think I will die crying all day,I have 2 kids.Lupus? |
I feel a sharp pain only when I stand up from a sitting position,I take a few steps pain is gone,dr say I have mild lupus I looked up lupus so far I have none of these symtoms I did have blood test, something was 294, what does that mean, anyway I read that you cannot only diagnose lupus from the blood test,I read that the whole body hurts,my body does not hurt, and she put in my chart that I told her I have sores in my mouth and nose which I never said and she put I have fatigue not true I work 2 jobs both I am up at 5:00am and I have 2 kids to run after,so if I'm tired it's from working but I never told her that either, she says I must take plaquenil,I want a second opinon.the way she treated me was rude she just you have mild lupus take this come back in 2months.I have so many questions but she was out the door.My doctor said blood looks like something similar to lupus not lupus and then said go see the rhertologist, and she sent me for more blood work and says it's mild lupus. Every lupus patient has a different set of symptoms. That is one of the reasons it is hard to diagnose. You need to get a second opinion from another doctor before you let this upset you so much. Until you know for sure try not to think about it. From what you have said, it sounds like your doctor was very rushed and may have mis-diagnosed you. When you go for a second opinion, write down everything that you can think of that is wrong so the next doctor will have more information. The more information you give them, the better chance they have at coming up with a correct diagnose and can prescribe medicine to help. Good luck. You really should get a second opinion, but calm down for now, the stress can't help your situation at all. I am sorry for how that nurse treated you, it is a shame that she forgot the first thing about nursing school and that was to genuinely care for your patient. I can't tell you what is wrong because I just don't know, but I do know that you need a second opinion and a nicer nursing staff. Kudos to you for being a full time mom and employee, I am doing it as well, just go give your beautiful children a big ol' hug! Seems like all worries go away after that. If that doesn't work than drink a glass of wine....lol I am only kidding, just trying to cheer you up a bit! Have a better day ok? Get another doctor! You should not have to wait two months! She's sloppy and rude and seems disinterested in doing what needs to be done so you can have as much relief and an accurate diagnosis. It is unlikey to ever get better. Get a new doctor. I had to go through several doctors until I got a new one for something else. It makes a big difference to get an accurate diagnosis and to start treating the right problem in the right way. The first thing you need to do is find a doctor that you are comfortable with. Find a doctor who will sit and talk with you, answer any questions you have and explain any and all tests he is ordering. Stressing over your doctor is only going to worsen the situation. Your life is very busy, you need to take care of yourself. As Moms we will stop the world to take care of our families, we find the time, but there is never any time for ourselves. It's time you take time to take care of yourself. Good luck and let me know how you are doing I would take care of your body my aunt had lupus, unfortunatly she is not alive any more, but i would go and make sure that you keep getting check ups and everything like that, you should ask them to check you for fibermialgie my mom has that and she wakes up with pains and get very cold very easy. My great aunt has lupus and she is now in her early 70's. I know that lupus is very hard to diagnose so you should get another opinion. |
