About Lupus?

The doctor thinks I have Lupus Disease..But my tests are inconclusive. It's been this way for a couple of years...Is there anyone out there that had the same problem and was then diagnosed?

On average it takes lupus patients 3-4 doctors and 3-4 years before they get the correct diagnosis! And then, it could be wrong. Lupus imitates many other diseases. Those have to be ruled out. Then a combination of symptoms, history and labs are all taken into account. Some carry more weight than others.

You could have the exact same symptoms and labs and one doctor will diagnose you with lupus and another may not!

What matters is doing what you can to feel better. Avoid the sun, learn stress management techniques, eat a health diet and get regular moderate exercise. All these things help with any autoimmune disease!

Best wishes.

Lupus is very hard to diagnose. Sometimes people never are, and really they were suffering for along time. Any auto-imnune deficiencey disease, is very hard to pinpoint. I hope you are on a very good diet and take all the meds, that they have given you. ? Good Luck.
