My father was an amazing presence in my life. When he died, I was diagnosed with lupus. Will I be cured? |
I am doing positive things to enhance my health and have sought counseling to resolve my family issues. Am I doing enough or is there more I can do to stay healthy for my son and my mother? Lupus is an autoimmune disease and there is no cure at this time. Your doctor will manage your condition by treating the symptoms. As you know stress and the sun can exacerbate lupus. Take care. Lupus isn't curable. But, it is treatable. The best thing you can do for your self, is live the healthiest life style that you can. Go to all your doctors appointments. And follow the treatment plan to a tee that your doctor decides is best for you. There isn't much else that you can do. Just take care of your self the best that you can. |
