I have lupus, And I have the common rashy redness on my face...? |
Is there anyway for it ever to go away or a way to get rid of it. To me it feels like an anchor holding me down. I am really self-consious about my body and my face is in need of help...you can see by my picture. Hi. I have lupus too and also am on Plaquenel. Don't keep scrubbing your face. That will only make it worse. Use a gentle moisturizer. I use on by Mark. that is very light. Maybe try using a gentle cleanser like Cetaphil too. I too have lupus and the butterfly rash over my nose and cheeks and then on my chest as well. There is nothing that I have ever heard that can help or change it. I am 43 years old now and it took time to get used to it. I know what you mean about being self consious about it. I have vitiligo also. I wish I could tell you something different. The best thing to keep inflammation down for me is to stay out of the sun. Best of luck...I do understand. personal experience |
