Can someone who has lupus tell me what some of the treatments are like? |
I just got diagnosed today and I am really scared and my next appointment with the doctor to discuss treatments is not until 2/14/07. Any helpful advice and/or information would be greatly appreciated...thank you. Lupus is managed with medication and some exercise. You should be glad you got the diagnosis as it is most difficult to diagnose. And too, not all the same meds work well for each person. Be willing to do what your doctor says and stay with it for your own well being. A person can live a relatively healthy life even with lupus. Go to Webmd for further information. Good luck. |
