Can it still be lupus? |
i have elevated rf factor, joint pain, fatigue, nose ulcers, my rheumotologist did an anti something ( snakebite venom test) and it came out negative so he doesnt think its lupus.isa it possible that it still can be even with a negative result with taht snake bite venom thing? Apparently they tested all us kids and it came out negative and there's no lupus. If they've tested, you'll have to try for alternative diagnoses. The thing about lupus is that it can effect many different areas of the body and there can be a lot of differential diagnoses. Work with your doctor, but if you feel you need a second opinion, don't be afraid to ask your doctor for a refferal. They really are used to it! Ok.. I have Lupus..and I have had an ANA test done.
