Can you die from Lupus? |
My friend might have Lupus. She finds out on Monday. I've googled it but can't find an answer. Yes, you can die from Lupus. The odds are better now that one won't then they were years ago but it is still not an option that is off the table. At present, there is no cure for lupus. It's a horrible thing to go through I feel for you and your friend. This changes a lot of things for everyone. Bottom line? Yes you can die from Lupus. Yes, but w/o death, life is hell Yes, one of my colleague's daughter died from Lupus a few years ago. Some form yes depend on the type of lupus she has. There is no cure for the disease itself, so alleviating the symptoms is all a person can do. Anti-inflammatory medication is given for arthritis pain as well as the pleurisy. Skin rashes can... It could just be that the test results weren't clear enough and they need to do them again to check everything is ok. I wish doctors would be more clear about stuff when they explain ...
