Is it possible to have Lupus and have nothing show up on the ANA test?

I've got all the classic symptoms, except my ANA test keeps coming up negative...anyone know about anything like this?

My advise is to go to a medical university. My friend always had either a false positive result or a negative. She went to the University of Georgia medical center and was diagnosed with Lupus. A medical university uses more updated procedures and equipment. If it seems your size is greater than your sister, mother, aunt, or grandmother when they were your age, the university medical center will be happy to help you. I am sure you are up to date on all the symptoms. Good luck!
yes it is
Talk with your doctor.
If you got it. I recommend you taking pills of fatty acid called omega 3. To relieve some symptoms.
Same thing happened to me a couple years ago.

It turned out that I had Lyme's Disease. Weird, but true. If that's the case, you really need to get treatment ASAP. If Lyme isn't treated in time it can be extremely difficult to impossible to get rid of.

Hope you find out what's wrong soon and get better quickly!!

PS - The note above about the omega 3 fatty acids...I'd recommend that, too. I did that and it helped A LOT!!

Funny thing...I was craving fish, especially salmon when I was sick. It turns out that salmon is high in omega three fatty acids. As I took the supplements, the cravings went away as I got better.
I don't know about your ANA test, but we have had many Lupus sufferers respond favorably to immune system boosting and modulation with Transfer Factor. Visit the websites listed below, then email me for more specific information.
