Anyone out there who has lupus? |
I have lupus and I am not sure if the breakouts on my face is link to lupus. The doctor is of not much help either. Will chinese acupuncture helps cure my breakouts? Can I go for acupuncture with my current illness? If the breakouts on your face are bright red and spotted like chances are they are related to lupus. I have lupus and I also get what's called the butterfly rash. Look on www.lupus.org, it's the website to The Lupus Foundation and it is very informative. There is a list of symptoms that people with lupus may experience posted on the website. I'm not sure if you can get acupuncture with lupus, but I always have to ask my doctor before I do everything. He'll check it out and then get back to me about whether it's safe or not. It's a pain, but I don't want to end up doing something that would negatively affect my lupus and then I regret it. Lupus is crazy enough on it's own without adding to it. |
