Can you test positive for lupus if you have thyroid trouble? anything's possible - I have Hashimotos Thyroiditis - which is a auto-immune disease. My doc told me that once you have an auto-immune disease it increases your risks for others Sure can. only if you actually have lupus. If you just have a thyroid problem, first of all they won't just from no where test you for lupus. You are only tested for a thyroid problems. Your PCP would have to have an idea that you also have a possible auto immune disease, then they would test for lupus along with a myriad of other diseases. |
