Name of doctor who can treat "lupus"?

Doctors that often treat lupus and other auto-immune diseases would fall into the allergy-immunology category, but sometimes rheumatologists (as they deal with arthritis) or infectious disease docs as well as internal medicine doctors do a good job. If there is renal involvement, a nephrologist may be involved in the care, also.

My daughter has Lupus.
Where do you live. I can suggest a wonderful doctor in the L.A. area. You need to be seen by several different doctors to treat Lupus. But you do need one doctor to oversee your care. My wife's primary doctor is a hemotologist/oncologist because she also has antiocardiolipid syndrome, another common disease affecting patients with Lupus. He is a godsend and has saved her life. He makes sure that all of her other doctors are on track and keep her well.
