Is there any research going for systemic lupus erythematosus or any genetic therapy? |

(patient and caregiver resources for meds) i heard that people with lupus have a greater chance for heart disease what are the steps i can take to prevent this ive had mild lupus for the last 18 years the only symtom i had was a rash on my arms now im experiencing chest pain which the doctor told me that its inflamation in the chest wall i worry about the future every day and it makes me very depressed i want to do every thing i can to stay healty and prevent anything from happening Yes there is. The recent developments with type 1 diabetes and adult stem cells holds a lot of hope for lupus patients. There is no cure for lupus. Please help those of us who are living with lupus by going to www.lupus.org>take action>email congress and send a letter asking your representative to co-sponsor the lupus REACH amendments. |

It's hard for me to answer this although I watch the health channel all the time. So go to www.webmd.com this website will tell you everything you need to know about any medical problem... NO...One how can I stay away from myself and two Lupus is not contagious. But if you are sick with the flu or a cold...don't be coming by me - I can't afford to get sick and land in... I don't think so. From ... think you should ask a docter that,Luckily i am one.so your answer is..milk juice,soup and veggies in liquid form... I am no doctor, but sounds like you have many lupus symtoms.....take it from someone that was diagnosed in 1996. Some days are better than others, but if properly diagnosed they will be tes...
