This site has a booklet that you can print and read. Lupus is an autoimmune disease. You have an over active immune system that attacks "itself" (the body). Symptoms usually range from mild- joint pain and fatigue or severe-organ involvement. Sun and stress are triggers for a Lupus flare up. There is no cure but the symptoms can be managed with medications. People with Lupus are generally sensitive/allergic to chemicals-sometimes without knowing it.
