my friend is suffering from lupus since 12 years, You need to be supportive to your friend but also be realistic. There are no magic potions or cures for Lupus only prolonged treatment. Those that offer you anything else are just trying to make a buck off of you. First, when someone comes to you with a magical cure, ask them for the medical research on the product that they're selling (there won't be any...their clinical trials will be performed by non licensed people...no one recognized by the American Medical Association, this is why they'll say claims have not been evaluated by the FDA). There has been some real progress in the disease in the last few years...medications are more and more easily tolerated and have worked a lot better. It is important that you help your friend and not give into the urge to be her/his savior. Please visit real web sites like the lupus foundation of america or the american medical association. BTW for the person who posted above me why would a chiropractor have anything to do with lupus an autoimmune disease...he may be able to help with painful joints but that's only treating the symptoms not the disease. My kinesiologist is technically a chiropractor, so if there aren't any listed in the phone book (or alternative medicine practicioners), start calling chiropractors and ask them if they practice kinesiology or if they know any chiropractors that do.
