I wanted to speak with people who have Lupus? |
I myself have lupus now for about 5 years and I take 40 tablets every day. There is no day where I am not in pain. For my family its very difficult to understand what it means to be in pain every day. Who has the same problems? i have lupus. i just went thru the sickest time since being diagnosed.every day is a challenge.it has taken 7 yrs to get diagnosed.i am very confussed by this disease.lets talk. I use to have a friend many years ago who was diagnosed with lupus, a quite rare and not so common disorder. However i can't reflect of her suffering great pain as you describe, although i am aware it's effects vary from person to person. I only wish that there was more health promotion and education on this subject not only to the public but to health professionals and health carers. I wish you well, Greetings from Ross |

I was diagnosed in 04 and it is quite understandable that she is frightened. Although there is no cure , doctors can prescribe many different types of meds to "control" the severit... I have both Lupus and APS. Not a fun disease. National Institute of Arthritis and Musculoskeletal and Skin Diseases Information Clearinghouse NIAMS/National Institutes of Health 1 AM... surf the internet for lupous! you can even check in a medical encyclopedia I believe lupous profudus is a type of skin ulcer---but surf the web for more info... try just a few follicles first and see if there is any adverse reaction.... I had a co worker with Lupus, she just turned 60 and she is doing ok. She has problems but with regular Doctor Visits and meds she is even still working.... |
