Will I be able to get some help with Lupus? Like S.S.I.D I have not been working for 3 year's now because of L I think you mean SSI, supplemental security income. You will need to go to a local Social Security office to apply for it and make an appointment with a case worker. Apply also for Disability payments. When you keep this appointment you will need to take with you proof of income, identification, and any medical reports you can obtain. You will be provided with a list of what they require but you can start working on this in advance. You can also apply for Medicaid and I think Medicare as well.
