Why don't you hear a lot about the sickness Lupus, I wonder why don't they have awareness like cancer? |
i am a 31 year old female with lupus. There is no definitive cause for Lupus like there is for cancer. It can be caused by diet, cleaning products, personal products or any number of combinations of these. Something is causing your body not to respond like it should and that is usually toxins in your environment. There are many lupus resources available on line. Here's one of many. http://www.uklupus.co.uk/ Almost all cities have Lupus support groups. Check around and see if there is one in your area...Good luck.. I don't know why. It is an autoimmune disease, so it is more difficult to treat since your own body is attacking you. I have a different AU disease, they can't cure it, so they throw pills at it, and one just lives with it, and hopes for the best. I don't think they really want to cure cancer, either. Otherwise what would they do all day, besides golf? They just want to Manage the disease. Management means you have to keep coming back, and paying for your visit. The insurance companies like that. Just my humble opinion..... To both sterling and Nikki, I have lupus too. I've had it since I was seven, I displayed some of the symptoms chronic stomach pain, weight loss but the doctors would say it was psychosomatic cause my mom was being treated for breast cancer around that time. I finally got some clues as to my condition when I was 13, and finally a diagnosis when I was 17. I'm 23 now and I have no problems with my lupus, I'm not saying I'm in the best health cause damage was done because I went so long with out treatment. But I take this product called ambrotose, I've been taking it for six years and I haven't had a flare up since. My hair has grown back, my skin is clear and I don't have to take any pills. If you guys would like to know more you can look up these two sites: www.glycostory.com/teamval and www.glycoscience.org; there you can look up the disease specific review. Ambrotose is not a cure all but what it does is build and strengthen your immune system and promote cell to cell communication. If you have cancer, lupus, MS, fibromalgia, diabetes or any health issue ambrotose can help. If you have any questions feel free to e-mail me. |
