If a anticagulant test was postitive does that mean i have lupus?

recently called by the doctor and wondering does that mean i more than likely have lupus

No it doesn't necessarily mean you have lupus. There are many other tests that need to be run to determine that. Go to your doctor if you are concerned and ask him/her about it. Also we don't know any of your other symptoms, if there are any. Good luck. Source(s): Diagnosed with lupus 05/2005.
Go talk to your doctor about things. Not sure there is one specific test they run and decide it's Lupus. Best of luck to you.
not necessary u have lupus .
do you maybe mean an ana titer? a coagulent test is to check level of bleed time! ie.. for maintenance of meds like coumadin (warfarin). an ana on the the other hand does check for probability of infections like lupus because lupus fools your immune system into attacking connective tissue. so no it is only a sign of infection somewhere. you are only asking 1/2 the question, or giving only 1/2 the story related to question.
worked for doctors with their respect for my understanding of human body.
