What do the doctors do if you have lupus? |
What do the doctors do if you have lupus? They give you treatments right away and you maybe hospitalized for sometime. =) It really depends on the severity. For me at first it was an asprin regimen to keep inflamation down. When the painful joints and pluresy became unbearable, prednisone was added. That was 20 years ago and there are new and better meds. these days. I take 5mg. of prednisone daily right now, which is for anti-rejection of a transplanted kidney as well as to keep the lupus at bay. |
