Does anyone here have SLE Lupus? |
Does anyone here have SLE Lupus? Hi I am Chris. I have had SLE among other autoimmunes since my early teens. Like you I was not diagnosed until I had my second child, though I knew I had it before the dr's figured it out. I had the critera, but my ANA was coming back positive than Negative. It is a difficult disease to manage. That is for sure. I and a few others run an autoimmune/ Lupus support group/ message Board in Yahoo Groups. we have about 40 memebers with 2,000-3,000 posts a month average. we talk a lot, not just about the illness, but how it changes our lives, how we adjust, etc. we also go off topic and try to give everyone a laugh or two. some of us are rather silly and or funny, plus theres a lot of brain fog. We also have a lot of Lupus related Information. I am the main researcher, but others do it as well. I am sorry your in a major flare. I just am getting over one now. I was on IV chemo for several months, and its just now calming down, but still have bad days. I will give you my personal email, and the groups link In the source area. I have lupus along with many other health difficulties. What are some of your symptoms? Do you know the results of any bloodwork/testing? If we had more information on how it may be affecting you or a friend we might be able to provide more help. Hope you are feeling good! :O) No, but at one point and time my blood work came back borderline Lupus so now I am always being checked. I also have Fibromyalgia which you also mentioned you had. I keep meaning to e-mail you but keep forgetting. LOL. |
