What type of disease is Lupus?

An autoimmune disease
AutoImmune - Your immune system become incredibly reactive and starts attack your vital organs.

If you get it you get put on immunosupressants at the hospital and kept in a clean room.
auto immune disease.immune system is not fighting off what it should.
It is an autoimmune disease. I have lupus and it can be controlled with medicine to a certain degree. Lupus periodically attacks a certain organ or body part,,,,,lungs, skin, throat.....as long as you are under a good Drs care, you should be alright.
