What is MACULAR DEGENERATION? IS THERE A CURE?

Bilberry extract helps; monavie juice has helped some people; pycnogenol has some good reports. The bilberry is supported by european research. The others are anecdotal. None will do you harm and may help. Bilberry and pycnogenol can be gotten at health food stores. Go to monavie.com to find a distributor in your area. Don't know if it will cure you, but it may improve or arrest your problem.

It is a serious eye problem that can not be reversed. The person usually goes blind.
I ran into Opthomalogist that is working on restoring the problem that was few years ago don't know it's outcome.

It's when you begin to get tears or holes in your retina. My mother had it. She saw nothing straight ahead but had all her peripheral vision just fine. They are doing some seaming of the tears with lasers but not for all types of tears. Hopefully science will come up with a better solution soon. 5 years ago they didn't even have the laser repairs...so they are making advances.
It is a disease of the eye. My grandmother's friend had it and no there isn't a cure.
I have heard a little about this but don't know much. Some say it can be slowed down but not stoped & they aren't sure how much it can be slowed. Get in a support circle, talk to a doctor, call ask-a-nurse. Good luck with your awarness of this.
