Im in menopause and I haven't had my period in 6 months but I'm starting to spot. Is this normal? Hiya, normal believe me I've been through it. you are in the beginning stages of it. after 12 full months free from bleeding, then you have gone through menopause. you can be in this process for a few years. hold on there is light at the end of the tunnel. This is very normal. I have many aunts and a mom that are going through the same thing. Yes, it's normal. You're not in menopause yet - You're in perimenopause. The average transition period from perimenopause to menopause is about 5-6 years. You will be considered menopausal when you haven't had a period in a full year. |
