Early early menopause? help?

I am in my early 30's and have begun perimenopause. I can't take hormones and instead need to make lifestyle changes. Does anyone have any suggestions?

I went to the gyn doc complaining about all these symptoms I was having and that's what I was told.

This started when I was 30. I eventually had an endometrial abalation done to cut down on the excessive bleeding....then none, etc. I thought that she was crazy. (I mean....come on I was 30....menopause (perimenopause) is something that happens to people in their 40's.....or older)

My doc gave me a prescription for premerin (sp?) creme to help with some of the symptoms but advised that changes to my lifestyle would help more. She was right.

I've found that by changing my diet & exercising that quite a few of my symptoms have subsided.
