When does a woman go through menopause? |
The reason for this question is because I don't really know what to expect when this occurs. Mid 40's early 50's. I have been going through it for 5 years. Hope it is over soon!! Mine started out with hot flashes, not sleeping well, mood swings and irritability. Also irregular periods! Thank you for your responses!! Now I know what to expect when the time comes!!! Report It it's different for every woman. I think it usually happens mid- to late-40s or 50s, maybe even in 60s. Average age is 51 in the US I think. Some people go through menopause really early (in their 30s). I also think that what happens during menopause is different for every woman. Some have hot flashes, bleeding, nausea, irritability, etc. Women I've known who've gone through menopause have had varying experiences and age of onset. http://sexafter60.explore-me.com It happens different for every women. |
