So after women go thru menopause, they start having periods again?

ok so maybe this needs t be explained in a bit more detail for you, as everyone has jus said no and end of. basicalliy women are different from men (obviously) when it comes to the reproductive system as men produce sperm constantly throughout there life. women however, are BORN with only a cirtain number of eggs in the ovaries. this egg, in a normal female, will be "let out" (so to speak) one each month. it takes 28 days, once the egg has left the ovary, to make its way down the tube and into the womb. if the egg does not come into contact with the sperm to from a fetus, then the egg is no longer needed, and so we have a period and bleed in order to expel the unused egg. and so forth every month until any possible pregnancies.

this goes on for years, eventually using up all the eggs we were born with until... menopause! our reproductive system shuts down becouse our bodies dont have egss anymore and so are no longer fertile (cant have children).

hope this was a bit clearer!

no. It stops their menstruation, as well as their ovulation. It's like No more periods, and no more babies. But they do get other symptoms...like hot/cold flashes.
