Ladies...pre menopause??? |
has anyone used the Vivelle dot patch? (estrogen)? i heard it was bad to take hormones but my doctor did nothing but brag about this patch. i am pretty sure i am pre-menopausal, but i didn't take the blood test because there is really no point. i had a complete physical in december 07 and passed with flying colors. i am very tired, irritable, forgetful, moody, weight gain......etc. i have not experienced hot flashes or missed periods...yet. my doctor said i won't get cancer from these hormones, but i heard that you can. she said this patch will help with all my mentioned symptoms. can anyone offer advice on this? i'm 45 years old. thanks. what is pof? I think it's best if you can get through this period in your life without any added crap from our medical profession. My wife has gone through a lot of the symptoms and now has evened out and glad she decided to do it without help from a pill or patch .. She's 53 now.. anything you put in your body will have side affects .. She has actually lost weight she's down to 122 now and glad she no longer has a period. I've used the Vivacious microdot patch and passed my physical in walking colors. I like when a hormones, especially during mental-pause. I don't have hot flashes, I flash hotties. With every HRT there are side effects you just need to find the right one to fit you! They patch very well might the the one but it could also make your symptoms worse. You just need to try a few and find the one that suits you! Sounds like your doctor is in cahoots with this hormone patch distributer. I would get a second opinion. THOU ART PREGNANT. CONGRATULATIONS!! |
