Question about the menopause? |
My mum says if you start your periods late you start your menopause early - has anyone else heard this and is it true - I was a late starter (14). no...that's not true...we only have a certain amount of eggs...& when we run out..the menopause begins - & all women vary. Yes this used to be said but don't imagine it is a set rule of thumb. Like everything else it will vary from individual to individual and no set pattern. In my experience ,late starting and late finishing! |
