Menopause question when did your journey through peri-menopause then menopause begin? |
they keep changing the goal posts - when i was young the age for the change was 40-50 now it appears to be 50-60 Started when i was 42 my Doctor said no i was too young!! but i was all over the place,my periods ended 16 months ago but the flushes are still happening, and i am now 48. I guess I was around 48 or so when I started peri-menopause, by 52 or so my periods had stopped, but I still had occasional hot flashes till 55 or so. I started pre menopause 10 years ago. Now at 56 I've had 2 periods this year I hope the ends comes soon I'm 51 and still no signs of it. :) |
