Menopause- night sweats PLEASE HELP!? |
Has anyone got any natrual remidies for night sweats? i been using all soy products, like soy milk, tofu, and soy isoflavone capsules--2 a day with meals. and 2 capsules of black currant oil with every meal. soy has phytoestrogens in it and helps keep hormones in balance. and i eat powdered spirilina (add it to veggie dishes and soups) its a green superfood that's been used in the far east by womwn for ages. it's loaded with antioxidants that fight aging. the black currant capsules r working well for me in combo with soy isoflavone capsules. hot flashes are now gone along with nite sweats. also skin has become smoother, more youthfull looking. You might go to a health food store and read the available supplements for menopausal women. Black cohosh is one natural herb that has been associated with helping symptoms, also taking fish oil supplements may help you overall. Be very cautious; some "natural remedy" herbs can cause adverse reactions or other serious issues. I havent had night sweats but since i started menopause i cant stop eating! And its nice to see some women my age on this site. Dress lightly and crack a window before going to bed. * Seriously. DHEA, research it on the web... I take it, works like a charm |
