Pre-mature menopause. I m in trouble..need help!?

I m only 34 and the doctor said my menopause has started! I dont have any kids yet! Do you have any suggestions to get out of this situation naturally? Doctor suggested HORMONE REPLACEMENT THERAPY (HRT) and I read on internet that there are serious side effects!

I want to know if anyone of you has gone thru similar situation and come out of it naturally - with only changing your lifestyle or eating habits or doing better things.

I m a depressed personality (its in my heridetary as my family doctor said). I used to be happy-go-lucky types but after marraige, my husband who was quite a difficult person, my personality changed drastically with me always being angry or stressed or upset. This probably has caused hormonal imbalance within me and now the consequences. I tried my best to remain a light-hearted person but each time and each situatino when I was dominated by husband, it led me to a next level of stress.

Has anyone of u gone thru a HRT and has got back the periods. How do u feel? Any side effects? Have you conceived after that?

Shall be very thankful to you for your answers.

There's a doctor who is an expert on premature menopause who you can ask questions to: http://www.pofsupport.org/pofer/dranswer...

Don't blame yourself or your personality or stress for this happening. It's a physical thing. It also makes you depressed to have premature menopause, because your body needs those hormones, and without it it doesn't work that well.

The hormone replacement therapy is actually good for your health at your age. Numerous studies have shown that if a woman's ovaries stop working before age 44, her life expectancy is shorter, and she has all kinds of health problems. The problems associated with hormone replacement therapy are only for women who take them after the natural age of menopause (around age 51). At 34, it's very important for your health to take hormone replacement.

It is unlikely or impossible to get your period to start again unless a doctor misdiagnosed you.
