Im I going through a Very early menopause?

Hi,
I am 16 and I havnt had my period or anything for about 2 months now!!!
Im a little worried that I may be sick or somthing. Before I stopped having my period they were verry painfull and heavy the last period I had was so painfull I actually passed out in a hot sweat! After that I havnt gotten one since.
So I was thinking maybe Im going through a early Menopause, Im getting a little bit scared and my mother and I cant seem to find out what is wrong!!!!

If I dont have my period could I die?

nope, it's normal. If you already had your period then you are gonna have your periods till 60's (sorry)

ur NOT gnna die.! ma aunt didnt have it her whole life and it just means that u probably wnt be able to have kids!
