Anyone losing their mum due to menopause?

mum used to be really nice, and giving and not strict.

now she's always gossiping with her friends about people. and anything slightly negative that i say it sets her off. and now she's very very strict

the other day i asked if we could leave a bit early from the beach because i hate getting sun burnt. and she went berserk.
i just can't stay calm with her forever. i feel that we are growing further apart everyday.

anyone have any suggestions? or stories?

thanks :)

Stick through it, Your mum is just going through a change, she supports and loves you through all, you must do the same.

the menopasuse isnt going to last forever. maybe confront her. next time she yells at you for no reason just go in an assertive voice "look mum i know you have menopause and everything but stop treating me this way! you used to be really nice and now your so strict i cant even ask if i can go honme early fomr the beach cause i ahte getting sunburnt! o god...you dont seriosuly want me to get skin cancer do you! i love you and all but this needs to stop."

it might be a wake up call for her...maybe she just dosent realize. maybe she cant help it but no matter what she needs to nwo your alwasy gonna be there for her and love her. might make her feel better.

My mom just went threw menopause not to long ago and she is still pretty much the same. I think I use to fight with her more before. But she can get in a bad mood. She has to take pills for hot flashes.. Im not sure if it has anything to do with menopause tho.

Oh crap I hope I dont get like that
