If a woman is in her 5th year of menopause?....? |
is it normal for her to have her menses? uhm yea she had stopped bleeding but then it came back full force for awhile and now she just spots from time to time Do you mean it has been 5 years since she had her last period and then she started spotting? If that is the case she needs to get to the doctor. That happened to me and I had polyps in my uterus. They are benign but require a D and C to get rid of them. If she has not gone for at least a year without a period and she is still spotting from time to time, that is probably normal. However, she is in a time of life when she is most at risk for cervical cancer, so she should be getting regular pap smears. ANY bleeding in menopause should be seen by a physician. Although the most common causes are easily treatable, you need to be tested for endometrial cancer (which is rare but can present like this) the quite normal i was the same ... but talk to your doctor about it ,,, it quite normal i was told .. |
