I turned 45 in february .im going through menopause. i havent had a period in 7 months, isnt that too young? No my mother went through the change of life when she was in her late 30's. She ended up having a hysterectomy at 38. There isn't a set time for your body to go through this. Every woman is different. Make sure you get some meds so your hormones will get stabilized properly. It also helps with bone density lose and with mood swings. Hope this helps. no its not. its purely biological and purely unique to you. If you started your period early...then most of the time you have menopause early too. But sometimes though..as the other person just said...it can be a case where it is in your genes. No. Actually its not the matter of your age but it depends on the person themselves. Let me give u an example; if your periods come too early maybe when you are 15 years old or you may get period twice per month before, you can still get this problem even if you are 40 years old. Forgive me if you think this answer is too rude. I am just giving my opinion. Absolutely not. Women can hit menopause even in their 30s. You should probably visit with your GYN just to be sure that it is menopause and to find out how to deal with any symptoms you may be having. There are several websites online that list the 35 symptoms of menopause. It's a very interesting and useful list. Actually my understanding was the later you start your period the EARLIER you start menopause? Hummm anyway, I started late and am doing menopause early...hormones started being wacky by 36...and I'll be 41 in 3 weeks. Good luck to you, and TRY natural stuff for HRT (Hormone Replacement Therapy) it is just TOO darn scary what those hormones do, and I went off mine cuz it didn't make me feel good, and my doc said 'GOOD'! LOL My friend's mom was 39. |
