Can your periods be really close together for menopause within a space of 2weeks.?

True menopause is when periods have been absent for a year. But in the run up to the menopause there is what is called 'Peri-menopause'. Periods can become irregular, with an increased duration and closer together. But two within two weeks might be unusual. It would be best to see a doctor who would probably arrange a blood test. There could be other reasons for the bleeding so this needs to be checked out by a doctor.
