Does anyone know what age you start to menopause? |
How do you know when you're done, you know, stop your menstrual period? your menstrual period usually gets heavier but less frequent. Eventually it will skip a month or two, then 3-6 months and finally it's over. You can experience mood swings, night sweats, hot flashes (your face will be red and the room will feel like to is way too warm.) Generally its 50+, but it can vary depending upon the person and can be up to 10 years sooner or later. The symptoms of menopause also vary greatly from person to person. Consult yr doctor Any age at all If you have a disease like Multiple Sclerosis, it can bring it on faster if you have a lesion around the gland that produces the necessary hormones ... but actually, any age at all and doctors DO NOT know why Menopause doesn鈥檛 usually happen before you are 40, it can happen any time from your 30s to your mid 50s or later. The average age is 51. Smoking can lead to early menopause. Some types of surgery can bring on menopause. For example, removing the uterus (hysterectomy) before menopause will make your periods stop, but your ovaries will still make hormones. That means you could still have symptoms of menopause like hot flashes when your ovaries start to make less estrogen. But, when both ovaries are also removed (oophorectomy), menopause symptoms can start right away, no matter what your age is, because your body has lost its main supply of estrogen. depends on your race.if you are an asian or european white,it would probably be around 50.but arabs and african blacks get it earlier at 45. ONe starts to menopause at the age of 12 years and the menstruation cycle continues till the female attains the age of 45- 50 years General Knowledge |
