Can i get pregnant if i am in menopause? |
my boyfriend wants a baby but i have gone in to menopause, can i still get pregnant? Take an appointment with your gynecologist and discuss that topic with him/her. He/she will be more likely to have the right answer for you. As a general rule, I would say that you can still get pregnant if you still have occasional periods. If you haven't had any periods for more than a year, then it's less likely you'll ever have one again. You can still get pregnant as long as you still have your uterus but then you would have to have somebody donate an egg to you (IVF) that would be fertilized by your boyfriend's sperm (do you have a younger sister, by any chance?). I would only suggest to do that if you really want to be pregnant and wants to know what it's like because you never had that experience... Otherwise, you can still just adopt. A lot of kids out there need a home and they don't mind if their parents are old as long as they have parents. Possibly through IVF and Hormone therapy but not naturally Yes, you can still get pregnant. nope... you need to have a cycle and if yours is gone than it just might be a wrap for ya....sorry bout that No. Menopause is your bodies way of saying 'you're done with babies'. It is the end of your periods, and the end of fertility. If you are in the early stages, and still get occasional periods, there is ever so slight a chance, but otherwise, it's time to consider adoption. http://health.yahoo.com/ency/healthwise/... ABSOLUTELY!! as long as menopause isnt over |
