What is the age range for people starting menopause?


a co worker of mine would like to know how old people usually are when they start menopause

Around 5% of women start from the age of 40, and by the age of 55, 96% of women have at least started menopause.
*Premenopause is the 10-12 years before menopause.
*Perimenopause is 2-3 years before menopause.
*Menopause is when you have gone 12 consecutive months without a period.

It would probably start 30 years after your first period.
