Do women experience an increase in their libido after menopause?

Do women experience an increase in their libido after menopause?

NOt usually. It may come before, but not after.
I did, immediately (well, okay, maybe a week) after my total hysterectomy. I was horny as all get out. That was two years ago. It's beginning to subside. Rats!
no they do my mother has just experience that increase after about a week ago.
Broward General Hospital.
only if they are taking some kind of pill (maybe estrogen, but now they say estrogen is cancerous) do they have an increased libido..
No , libido is hormone dependant , menopause is due to
decease in female hormones ,unless she is on hormone supplement
some do and some don't i know women who say that NOW they can enjoy themselves 'cause there is no threat of pregnancy,so they are finally able to relax and have great sex with their husbands. and i know someone who does'nt ever want to have sex again she claims she does'nt get horny. i think that's in her mind! some say they are too dry to get some and don't wantto use the lubricants out there!

so it depends on the woman.
