How safe it is to have sexual intercourse after menopause without fear of conception??

Even though my wife's (57) menopause was 1 year back, she is still insisting on using condems.

Apparently you don't watch the news often enough. There are plenty of women who get pregnant after it seems they are through the menopause. If you don't want to use a condom, get a vasectomy. Cheaper than a new baby.
Meby she has teh herpes.
maybe she is just used to using them, and is afraid to try it without them...tell her she should be ok, especially if she hasn't had a period for a year. but then again, have her double check with her doctor. good luck.
I was told six months, just to make sure that the period really has stopped.
Can't get pregent once she no longer has had her period 1yr she can't no way can she.But if she wants 2 be safe then I guess do as she says to keep the peace lol
Just say rubbers (contraception)
UMM SHES DONE!!!
