How do I know if I am going through perio-menopause?

How do I know if I am going through perio-menopause?

If you're not currently using any sort of hormone therapy or hormonal BC, then you can either get a blood test done by your doctor or you can use an OTC test system called MenoCheck. Both will test for FSH (follicle stimulating hormone) in your body. The less of it there is, the more likely it is that you're approaching menopause. Source(s): http://www.menocheck.com
Your periods will start acting weird, skipping one, then going normal for a while, coming after 2 weeks, skipping, you will most likely start having hot flashes, getting suddenly warm and sweating, you might have night sweats, you might have mood swings, your breasts might start to itch for no reason, you might notice changes in your skin, geting drier, "crepy" looking, lots of small changes over time. It can start 10 or more years before actual menopause, when you completely stop having periods.
