Can a woman in her middle 20's go through Menopause? |
I am only 25 and I have missed cycles for approx 4 months and then I have a cycle. I would like to have another child, but I can't seem to get pregnant........Is it possible to go through menopause at such a young age? I already have 2 children I had no issues getting pregnant with them. Can someone help me out with this I am very stressed out because of it. Thanks to anyone who can help me out!!! Yes, it is possible for you to be going through early menopause, you do however say yourself that you are extremely stressed which can cause the problems with your cycle. No one on here can tell you for sure what's going on, so I strongly suggest you go see your doctor as soon as possible. Irregular periods on its own isn't a sign of menopause, but coupled with infertility it can be. I looked around the net for you, and found a helpful web site. http://www.earlymenopause.com Still, you should go see your doctor. Yes you can go through early menopause. Go to the doctor if you are concerned its not common but i might me possible?? yes it is possible. yes it is possible but I would see a doctor....it could also be PCOS Call your doctor. YOu can certainly go through menapause in your 20's. I had a friend who did. No one else in her family ever went through it at 24 but she did. Defintely call the docotr tomorrow morning. I would. It's possibly, but highly unlikely. Find out when your mom, or maternal grandma and aunts started menopause. Since the time frame when you start menopause is usually hereditary, this will give you a good idea as to when you can expect to go through yours. If your periods were regular, and now they're totally irregular - this is totally normal. Especially after you've aged and have had kids. My period is extremely irregular, and I've always worried about not being able to get pregnant or having a hard time getting pregnant. I'm glad to say, I've been pleasantly surprised! I'm now pregnant with baby #3. So, talk to your family. Make a doctor's appt. and tell them your concerns and request a blood test to test your hormone levels - this will tell you if your entering early menopause...Good luck with everything. I'm sure you'll be just fine! |
