Alternatively, you could try black cohosh or red clover, which you should be able to buy in a health food shop or larger pharmacy. Or you could see your doctor if you would consider something like HRT. If you don't want hormonal treatment but find that the alternative remedies aren't working, your doctor could prescribe something called clonidine which should help ease the hot flushes. |
