If my husband had a vasectomy, am I at risk for early menopause? |
If my husband had a vasectomy, am I at risk for early menopause? I am very much convinced that the various religious organizations spread negative propaganda about vasectomies. After all they have a vested interest in their members having more children, so that they will get future members and future revenue. The theory behind this one, is if a women does not receive a mans鈥?semen in her vagina on a regular basis, she will go into menopause. This myth is so lame. First of all, a man whom has had a vasectomy will continue to ejaculate semen in the same way as before (only the sperm are absent). Even when a woman has sex with a man whom has never had a vasectomy, the sperm are not absorbed by her body. Your husbands vasectomy will only affect your ability to create babies. Not your menopause. What? I am seriously at a loss for this question. How does a vasectomy have anything to do with menopause? It doesn't. FDA researcher Your husbands vesectomy would have nothing to do with when you start menopause. Heaven's NO. one has nothing to do with the other. No that has nothing to do with when you will hit menopause. Menopause is determined by when you start running out of your predetermined number of eggs in your ovaries. |
