Anyvody know anything about men and the mid life crisis or male menopause? |
Is there such a thing - if so what are the signs? How long does it last? Oh dear I have done everything that pegaus has said LOL I never knew there was a proper medical name for it. I just called it having fun. . Yes. It's called buying a sports car, cheating on the wife and finding a younger babe. It's usually a permanent condition. look up Andropause/ this is the technical name and yes it is a true condition hello men go thru changes none like menopause. who ever said men have menopause is a quack. p/s it last like 1 year.... menopause last 5-6 yrs.. no comparison... best There is such a thing. This problem cannot be attributed to the aging process alone, however, because well over 40% of males remain sexually active at 70 years of age and beyond. CAUSES Although the causes of male menopause have not been fully researched, some factors that are known to contribute to this condition are hormone deficiencies, excessive alcohol consumption, smoking, hypertension, prescription and non-prescription medications, poor diet, lack of exercise, poor circulation, and psychological problems. The few doctors who profess to be experts in this area have widely divergent opinions. However, all of the experts do agree that a general decline in male potency at mid-life can be expected in a significant proportion of the male population. Yea, it exists. It's the male version of a female menopause. And is almost identical. |
