Im 14 and my 2 year long period is awkward in a "menopause" manner or something.. why? This doesnt make sense. 14 year olds dont go through menopause Probably because you are less than 6% body fat. If you have lost weight, this is very common. If it doesn't come back within 3 months, go see a doctor. I'm not sure I understand your ?....Can you explain it better or w/ more detail? Oh...meaning you had it at one point and now haven't? If that's it...yes, too much weight loss can affect it. It sounds like your body is still adjusting. When was your first period? How old were you? Usually, it's completly normal to have very irregular periods for the first couple of years i would consult your doctor My fiend had that. When she was younger she was raped when she was really young. It is a mental thing in her case. You didn't say how long you haven't had a period so it's difficult to say. Everyone is very different when it comes to this so don't worry if you are not 'regular.' Alot of girls aren't. I remember the first few years I had a period, and nothing was regular about it. I thought something was wrong with me, but eventually it straightened out. At fourteen your body is still going through puberty. Your hormones are changing everyday and a regular cycle will happen in the end. But, keep in mind, what is regular for one may not be regular for another. Whatever your body does on a regular bases is regular for you. For instance, if you have a period every 5 weeks instead of for, that would be regular for you. If you can talk to your mother or another adult female that you feel comfortable with I am sure this will help. Just DON'T worry. It'll all work out and then you'll be complaining that it's happening too much!! Once a month comes around fast...lol |
