Do contraceptives like a contraceptive ring or implant push back the occurrence of menopause?

contraceptive implant allows women to not have a menstrual cycle for 5 years, does that mean menopause is pushed back 5 years

please cite sources if any

No.

Menopause is directly controlled by a hormone called Follicle Stimulating Hormone, released in the brain, which controls the start and stop of menstrual cycles by stimulating the ovaries to generate and release eggs (ovum).

All hormonal methods do is trick the body into thinking its already pregnant, so eggs are not created or released.

I've been on hormonal birth control for most of my adult life, and have recently started peri-menopause (at the age of 36), whereas my mother never used hormonal methods and started menopause when she was 38. My sister as well has experienced early menopause, and she was never on hormonal methods either.
No, there is no way a contraceptive ring holds back the onset of menopause. And just because a woman uses birth control like that, she should still have a menstrual cycle. She may not ovulate, but if she's not having a period, there is something wrong, and she should not be deliberately skipping that week without/placebo week. It's very bad for a woman's body, and she needs to see her GYN.
menopause is the time when a woman mostly olderwomen stop having their menstrual cycle mostly due to diminsehd production of hormones....! contraceptive rings prevent conception which means that they dont allow the fertilisation of sperm n egg.this is something which is done by the will of the person.it has nothing to do with menopause.no matter if u wear ur ring for 10 years.that will in no way delay ur menopause.u will get menopause when ur body decides its time for it.period.
