Would taking prozac cause increased gas and bloating? I'm 47 and in peri-menopause.?


I'm currently taking Zelnorm with the Prozac but have been severely constipated and bloated for last 6 weeks. Had CT Scan of abdomen and upper GI X-ray. No problems found. Any help would be appreciated. I miserable. :(

The changes around menopause can cause these problems. Increase the amount of water you drink and increase fibrous foods. Cut down on wheat products that sometimes helps.
