Is there any other medical reason a woman would have frequent hot flashes besides menopause? This can occur during any hormonal changes. e.g. period, just had a baby, or nursing, even an imbalance. Also sometimes happens when there is an infection and your body is fighting it. One might have a urinary infection but does not feel sick because your body is fighting it off. Whatever it is if it persist, call your doctor just to be sure. Yes, lots and FYI men can have hot flashes too. Lifestyle and medications. medications can cause this it does me i know. being diabetic can cause it also.question for the doctor. good luck. A reduction in estrogen is what triggers hot flashes and menopause. You can get hormone replacement therapy from your doctor if your hormones are low. If you take vitamins with niacin, the niacin can cause hot flashes. Drink a glass of water when they hit if this is what's behind them. RN yes, absolutely i am not a Dr but other illnesses could be responsible of course other symptoms and medical history would all be necessary so pls contact a health provider it sounds like it is nagging and if there is an easy fix for it,you do it. |
